Puppy Boot Camp
Our 7 week Obedience Classes will resume in
September.
For those of you with new puppies contact me
for a one day Puppy Boot Camp. We will help you work out a lesson plan for your
newest family member.
Our Puppy Boot Camps are on Saturday AM's call
for information on when our next PBC day is. Cost is $20.00
1st Week - Orientation - DO NOT BRING your pet!
We will be discussing:
- Our training philosophy
- How the dogs perceive direction
- Body Language of the Canine
- How corrections are given
- Tools necessary for proper training and the
importance of using them
2nd Week - Training Begins
- Controlled behavior and walking on lead - "Heel"
- Learning how and when to deliver a "correction"
3rd Week
- Basic commands begin - "Sit"
- Reinforce "Heel"
- Discussion of any problems
4th Week
- Sit and Heel is reinforced
- "Stay" is introduced
- Discussion of any problems
5th Week
- Sit, Heel and Stay is reinforced
- "Down" is introduced
- Discussion of any problems
6th Week
- All commands are practiced and honed
- Down Stay at 30 foot distance
- Sit Stay at 30 foot distance
- Discussion of any problems
7th Week
- All commands practiced and honed
- Reminders for continue practice.
- Individual performance exam

Sessions in your home. We can help with basic training or
behavior problems. Most problems are solved with 1 session. You may purchase
